None. Manully configured so nobody except me can change any critical system files. (Don't ask how, it's probably against some rule somewhere)
I am so confused now...this battery power issue has been an issue for me for over a year and it has been like this like clockwork. Computer goes completely silent within 5-15 minutes of logging into Windows. But now, when I want to prove a point, everything works like a dream all of a sudden. :confused:

UPDATE:
Been running Windows on battery power until I got battery low warning. Then I plugged it in. Never saw a full death this time, after over an hour of heavy usage and pretty low health batteries. (this computer should do about 6-8H easily, but can only make it to 1-3h right now.)

BTW...even brand new batteries needs calibration. So make sure to calibrate all the batteries, one by one for 2-3times before testing actual battery life.

Lenovo Vantage tool should have this feature built in.

Do you often run on battery only and only charge the laptop full and then remove the charger when done? This is similar to recalibrating the battery. New batteries should always be ran almost empty a couple of times and then charged to full, before the battery gauge will be accurate.

The nearest I have come is that yesterday evening, I allowed a laptop to spend a day in S0 Modern standby despite thinking I had hibernated it when I put it away. When I just got it out again for use this evening, I found that the battery had dropped to 17% charge [I don't know its state when I put it away as I had, for a change, been using it on battery yesterday evening despite being two feet away from electric sockets].

I generally only run on battery if I want to operate away from power sources.
And I have some powerpacks that generate the 20V that my laptops need so I am rarely forced to use battery power. I'd rather use up the powerpacks than my laptops' internal batteries.

yup. After update to win11 with the driver windows update installed, i was getting random shutdowns and fast drain. Then i uninstalled that driver completely and found my oem hp driver. Now it working like a charm :D
