    fully 'Windows 11 ready' laptop. Windows 10 C: partition migrated from my old unsupported 'main machine' then upgraded to 11. A test migration ran Insider builds for 2 months. When 11 was released on 5th October 2021 it was re-imaged back to 10 and was offered the upgrade in Windows Update on 20th October. Windows Update offered the 22H2 Feature Update on 20th September 2022. It got the 23H2 Feature Update on 4th November 2023 through Windows Update, 24H2 on 3rd October 2024 through Windows Update by setting the Target Release Version for 24H2, and 25H2 on 30th September 2025 through Windows Update by setting the Target Release Version for 25H2.

    UPDATE - 11 April 2026: due to mechanical deterioration this PC has been retired from active duty. The OS with all software and files has been migrated to my System Seven in 'Other systems' to carry on as my general purpose 'main machine'.

Yeah today it finaly starts to turn around and my energy will start to com back little by little for every day.. and in about 6 days i have the energy to go out again if i want too... But i will use the energy for packing instead of going out. :-)

Yeah, it was doing fine, then got bad, then fine & now bad again. She might have to go to the wound care every week, something she & I are not looking forward to.

The way it is now is the nurse comes in once a week, changes the wound, I change it 3 days later & then the nurse comes again. She goes to the wound clinic once a month due to the difficulty in getting her out of the house.

I feel you.. once a week do not sound fun at all.... but on the other hand.. the most important is that it becomes fine again. :-)
Make it in to a once a week picnic on the way home, to also enjoy the trip to make something positive with it. :-)

Well, fortunately the hosp has a good cafeteria, & they make good burgers, she enjoyed those last time. but we'll see, we have fried chicken in the fridge & that needs to get eaten, going on it's 4th day. Waste no want not.....

That works too.. i have not eaten a burger for years and years :-) .... But making a stop in nature and just enjoy the fresh air and all nature sounds to a picnic.. its good for the soul too. :cool:

Thank you. Always a nerve wracking time for her & me when we have to go down those stairs.

People say we should move. Yeah, we'll just up & do that morrow. We have a lot invested in this house, it's paid off, got a new metal roof a few years back, & not looking forward to having to start payments on a house at 65.

    fully 'Windows 11 ready' laptop. Windows 10 C: partition migrated from my old unsupported 'main machine' then upgraded to 11. A test migration ran Insider builds for 2 months. When 11 was released on 5th October 2021 it was re-imaged back to 10 and was offered the upgrade in Windows Update on 20th October. Windows Update offered the 22H2 Feature Update on 20th September 2022. It got the 23H2 Feature Update on 4th November 2023 through Windows Update, 24H2 on 3rd October 2024 through Windows Update by setting the Target Release Version for 24H2, and 25H2 on 30th September 2025 through Windows Update by setting the Target Release Version for 25H2.

    UPDATE - 11 April 2026: due to mechanical deterioration this PC has been retired from active duty. The OS with all software and files has been migrated to my System Seven in 'Other systems' to carry on as my general purpose 'main machine'.

    My SYSTEM SIX is a Dell Latitude 5550, Core Ultra 7 165H, 64GB RAM, 1TB NVMe SSD, supported device, Windows 11 Pro 24H2, Hyper-V host machine. Updated to 25H2 on 30th September 2025.

    My SYSTEM SEVEN is a Lenovo Thinkpad T580, Intel Core i7-8650U, 16GB RAM, 512GB NVMe SSD + 2nd 512GB NVMe SSD, a supported device for Windows 11. This is my current general purpose 'main machine'. The installed Windows 11 Home from my System One has been migrated to this machine.
