I wish it was that simple.. the problem is I'm under stimulated do to my Hypothyroidism.. as i dont have the physical energy, i can do stuff so my brain actually get tired..

Maybe talk to a doctor & see what they can offer you. Maybe a sleeping pill occasionally would help.

I get that too, I have ADHD, active brain going 90 MPH, I take a couple Ativan before i go to bed, helps take the edge off.

I did that several years ago. Sleeping pills the strong kind is not meant to take 365 days a year. so the only thing i would do is to put a lot of crap in my body to get 2-3 hours extra only 3 times a week. Its not worth the side-effects of them.. and the weaker kind will not stop me from waking up several times a night. so they wont do anything extra.. and also they aren't meant to take 365days a year.
So the only way is to actually do stuff that makes my brain tired.. but as the body cant keep up its a catch22.

Yeah you can't take them all the time. Not good for the body.

Today I have to take that two hour drive and part of me doesn't want to go. It's going to bring back memories of Jim and all the kind things he did for others and the less fortunate. I'll likely be loading up my van with piles of antiquated hardware, some of it beyond my abilities to repair. I think it was back in 77 when Jim built his first computer. He was 11 years old. I believe it was a Heathkit but not sure. He always was a big Radio Shack guy. In the early 90's he gave me his old Tandy so I could get more familiarized with computers. I had been using a Commodore 64 before then. Jim heralded from Regina, Saskatchewan (same place as Dave Plummer). I didn't meet him until the 80's but by then I was well into my 30's and he was still in his 20's. Jim had what some folks would call a "beautiful mind". We would discuss physics, chemistry, electronics, and computers without reserve and very randomly. He had a thing about drawing diagrams on napkins in coffee shops. Every now and then we would go out to the gun range together. I suppose I could talk about my buddy endlessly.

Cancer and alcohol took him.

But it dont help. I still have the problem with that I'm under stimulated do to my Hypothyroidism so my brain want to be active for a lot more hours then body can keep up with.
The only way to solve it is to get rid of my Hypothyroidism so my body can keep up with active hours / day.
Or another solution is if i get another sickness that effect the brain energy, so my brain get as tired as my body.
