I'm hoping if I test positive the pharm doesn't have to report me to the health dept, I hear they can be rather insistent on admitting people with covid.

My Wife is worried also about what happens if they forcibly admit me to the hospital. There is going to be no one to take care of her. She can't get on the potty or into bed by herself, let alone change her diapers or make her food.

Also I have to get blood work done for an appt with the urologist next week. Damn, this was a lousy week for this to happen.

Ok, good news, Covid test is negative. They won't have to report it to the heath center & I won't be dragged off to the hosp for isolation. My Wife is every relieved as well.

Got 4 cans of chicken soup while at the market, the homestyle, hopefully that helps & makes a difference.

Still make me wonder, what the hell kind of s super-flu is this that can cause all this crap?

I'm going back to bed where I'm sure I'll be sending most of the day. Going to bundle up with a couple sweaters, get under the blankets & try to sweat this ting out & break the fever. I should smell real good after today :sick:

Yeah there is a lot of super bugs out there and they spread all over the world like wildfire as people travels by plane all over the world.. and its fast traveling so the symptoms dont show until they already home again... By boat and the symptoms will show before they get home and it can be stopped before they set their foot on land again.

It sounds as a good plan do bundle up under a blanket.. watch a good movie or so and have some chicken soup. 🍲 and a cup of tea 🍵 :-)

    fully 'Windows 11 ready' laptop. Windows 10 C: partition migrated from my old unsupported 'main machine' then upgraded to 11. A test migration ran Insider builds for 2 months. When 11 was released on 5th October 2021 it was re-imaged back to 10 and was offered the upgrade in Windows Update on 20th October. Windows Update offered the 22H2 Feature Update on 20th September 2022. It got the 23H2 Feature Update on 4th November 2023 through Windows Update, 24H2 on 3rd October 2024 through Windows Update by setting the Target Release Version for 24H2, and 25H2 on 30th September 2025 through Windows Update by setting the Target Release Version for 25H2.

    UPDATE - 11 April 2026: due to mechanical deterioration this PC has been retired from active duty. The OS with all software and files has been migrated to my System Seven in 'Other systems' to carry on as my general purpose 'main machine'.
