Well, went to visit my Wife at the hosp this morn.
Her room has a red sign out front saying antibacterial measures are to be taken by staff entering this room. that means they have to put on a gown, mask & gloves.
They were talking of discharging her on Mon, but I asked them if they could keep her till Tues.
The reason: she has an appt with wound care on Tues @ 1PM in the building right next door to the hosp. If she came home Mon, I would have to get her up the stairs, & then Tues she would have to leave the house again. This way (hopefully, fingers crossed) she can get discharged around noon or earlier & we can wait for her appt. That way she only has to go up the lifts once.
Aside from that she's not happy being there but she never is happy in the hosp. She complained about them waking her every day at 4 AM to get blood. I asked the nurse why they do that. Apparently the AB they're giving her has to be a certain level & they have to adjust it according to what her levels are that morn. Also, the docs come in at 7 AM, so that way all the labs are done for the doctors to go over.
You all take care, wish you all a good safe day
