I hope so too.Well I hope you get your wish. Over here on our NHS you can potentially speed things up by contacting the hospital department or bookings team directly and ask to be added to a short-notice cancellation list. You'd have to be prepared for as little as a day or so notice though.
They use cancellation lists here too, if you live near by.. The hospital that will do this is 40Km away.. (i dont know what that is in miles), so i need at least a day warning as they never-ever give out appointments after i am up.
But usually they send out a date and time, then i can respond if its a good time and also if i can be there on short notice.. the cancellation list so to speak.
I will sign up for that.. and then i will try to avoid errands as much i can, to minimize my TKO days.
