Well I went to that ladies house. Not as bad as I thought. Turns out she had a better device than she identified. Plenty of issues, most sorted out.

Strange, it is using a local account and there is no option to switch to a Microsoft account.

Had to get new tires yesterday, opted for a medium cost tire, it was $539, that included a alignment, figured I'd get that dome while I was there.

The tires get good reviews so that's good, being I was a repeat customer the guy knocked $60 off for me on the tires.

Had a couple guys that work there come up to me & ask if I wanted to sell the car, they said I could get top dollar for it. Being I only have 18K on it & it's a 2017. They said they couldn't believe the low milage, said it looked almost brand new and they spotted that the tires on it were the dealer tires so they didn't doubt the milage.

I told then thanks but I'm hanging on to it, I mean, if I sell t what am I going to drive?

yeah.. selling the car and then get a new one is not always good...
we have a saying.. you know what you have, but you never know what you will get.
My problem on my car is tiny(rear brake pads needs to be changed).. and if i get a new one it might be bigger problem that wont show until a month or two later.

Yes, that's a true saying. I have no need of a new car, we barely go anywhere as it is. The only reason it has that much milage on it is had to make a few trips to big cities when my Wife got admitted to the hosp in those cities. I imagine it would only be around 14-16K if those trips weren't needed.

Be careful when you drive, baking systems are something you need to keep in good shape. If it stats grinding metal to ketal then it's going to damage the wheel interior.

Both my cars have had multiple sets of new tyres by now, even my Mini is on it's 3rd set since I restored it 16 years and 30,000 miles ago.
I've put 120,000 miles on my Polo and fitted at least 15 new tyres by now!

I have track racing brakes on that car, so no original stuff here.

Yeah, tires are expensive nowadays.

The ones I got were Summit Ultramax A/s 2.0 XL, they get good reviews online, so that's good. but those were $99 each, well, that's what the shop charged. You can find them online for around $79. But the major brand, like Goodyear & Michelin.......$$$$$$$$$$$. Saw a Goodyear on display, $194 PER Tire.

Yeah, that jeep is the best winter car i have ever owned.. The right stud tires and 4wd and hit the diff-lock and that one is a pure Tank.

Me too, but it's very odd that's it's not even being offered as an option.

@Caledon Ken, is Pro installed? If so, has it been set up to expect a Domain login? That's about the only thing I can think of that would exclude using a Microsoft account...

If it's an older model I bet it's built good & sturdy. You don't get that with new cars anymore, even with the new Trucks/Jeeps.

BTW, our steep hill in winter, when it's covered in snow, I've seen several 4 WD vehicles, including Jeeps, that couldn't get up the hill. Not even to the 1/2 way point. That's how steep our hill is. Like I said, no one goes anywhere till the plows show up.

I think it might been they used an installer and unattended install file.. that will bypass all MS-account stuff....

I dont have a sign in option or any ms account option on my win10IoT LTSC..

Yes its the older version 1996.. 6 cylinder engine and the 242 transmission etc. etc. So its the one that almost is bullet proof of all Grand Cherokee models.
Yeah.. real stud tyres is needed when its evil ice. I have some half mean stud tyres on mine.. they are on the edge to illegal as they have 2 millimeter studs instead of legal 1.6 millimeters
