oh... this was even worse.. I will be glad if i actually can crawl on all four from my bed to my sofa tomorrow.
It has been a looooong day.. First 5 hours sleep.. first trying to kick over my Jeep.. but it wouldn't start.. even i put in 5 Liter fresh gasoline and only had around 5ish 8 year old gasoline in it.. it was almost starting, but then it just refused.. I'm guessing it was flooded or something else.. Then i was to the doctor.. after than doing some errands... then to the garage and switching rear brake pads on the summer car...
I have not even had time for dinner today. *LOL* so i actually put some sugar in the tea for once, as i need to get the blood-sugar up a bit. :-)

So TKO times nightmare is awaiting me a few days now. :rolleyes:

    UPDATE - 11 April 2026: due to lid hinges starting to break up this laptop has been retired from active duty. The OS with all software and files has been migrated to my System Seven in 'Other systems' to carry on as my general purpose 'main machine'.

    I've now clean installed 25H2 and used Garlin's scripts to update Secure Boot to CA 2023 and revoke the PCA 2011 certificates. It's new role is to test secure boot issues.

    Info for 2021-2026:
    fully 'Windows 11 ready' laptop. Windows 10 C: partition migrated from my old unsupported 'main machine' then upgraded to 11. A test migration ran Insider builds for 2 months. When 11 was released on 5th October 2021 it was re-imaged back to 10 and was offered the upgrade in Windows Update on 20th October. Windows Update offered the 22H2 Feature Update on 20th September 2022. It got the 23H2 Feature Update on 4th November 2023 through Windows Update, 24H2 on 3rd October 2024 through Windows Update by setting the Target Release Version for 24H2, and 25H2 on 30th September 2025 through Windows Update by setting the Target Release Version for 25H2.

So sorry to hear you've had such a rough day, I hope the warm bath will lessen the impact 🫂

Top tip for a flooded petrol engine: If you have the choke out, push it back in. Then turn the engine over for about 15-20 seconds with you foot hard down on the accelerator. This pumps the maximum possible amount of lean air through the cylinders and, if your lucky, dries off the spark plugs. Then try starting it normally.

Most teas have more caffeine than coffee. OLD gas in the carburetor will gum it up and plug the jets. You most likely will have to take it apart and clean it out

There is about four times as much caffeine in tea than in coffee..... by dry weight!

But you'd never use the same weight of tea leaves as you would coffee beans, so a typical brewed cup of tea has about half the caffeine of a cup of coffee.

    UPDATE - 11 April 2026: due to lid hinges starting to break up this laptop has been retired from active duty. The OS with all software and files has been migrated to my System Seven in 'Other systems' to carry on as my general purpose 'main machine'.

    I've now clean installed 25H2 and used Garlin's scripts to update Secure Boot to CA 2023 and revoke the PCA 2011 certificates. It's new role is to test secure boot issues.

    Info for 2021-2026:
    fully 'Windows 11 ready' laptop. Windows 10 C: partition migrated from my old unsupported 'main machine' then upgraded to 11. A test migration ran Insider builds for 2 months. When 11 was released on 5th October 2021 it was re-imaged back to 10 and was offered the upgrade in Windows Update on 20th October. Windows Update offered the 22H2 Feature Update on 20th September 2022. It got the 23H2 Feature Update on 4th November 2023 through Windows Update, 24H2 on 3rd October 2024 through Windows Update by setting the Target Release Version for 24H2, and 25H2 on 30th September 2025 through Windows Update by setting the Target Release Version for 25H2.

Top tip for a flooded petrol engine: If you have the choke out, push it back in. Then turn the engine over for about 15-20 seconds with you foot hard down on the accelerator. This pumps the maximum possible amount of lean air through the cylinders and, if your lucky, dries off the spark plugs. Then try starting it normally.

Thanks, i think the bath did a bit at least. :-) and some sugar in the Tea actually feels like it was needed. :-)

It is fuel-injection. i tried a few tricks, but i didn't have time, so it will solve itself by the time i have time to look at it again :-)
I did not dig into it to much today... i had hoped that the jeep just had started as it ran fine 2+ish years ago.

Yeah it might have that.. but it was the taste i was after, as i didn't feel for more coffee then my 6 cups.
My jeep is a 1996, so it has fuel-injection.. But it is not impossible the injectors is acting up... But then it should have started on one or two cylinders, as it is seldom all injectors fail at the same time.. Its not impossible.. but not likely all of them.

Check the fuel filter, it may be plugged
