Sorry to hear you woke up with a sore arm. I sleep on mine & I got a special pillow that has a space underneath for my arm to slip through so it doesn't hurt anymore, take some of the pressure off.

Got my oil changed this morn, I do that once a year. For me it's a yearly thing because of the low miles I put on the car. The guy told me if you don't hit the 3K or 7K mark (depending on if it's synthetic or regular oil) to get is changed at least once a year. (I get the synth oil) Turns out I put 2,320 miles on it in 1 yr. Just crossed the 20K mark about 3 months ago. it would have been even less if I didn't have to run my Wife out to Johns Hopkins a while back, 2 trips to & from, 2 1/2 hrs away.

Thanks, I'm starting to feel more normal now, and my arms are less sore. The flu jab one is almost completely gone now, the covid one is getting better but taking a little longer.

and I think they hurt more as we age. Of course now they have the super high dose for seniors so more vaccine to combat. Here in Ontario we have the regular flu shot, the high dose flu shot and the super high dose for seniors. Last year I went late and had to go with high dose. They had the super high dose in a warehouse but wouldn't ship because the tech was flagging pharmacies for high usage so they thought the system was broken. What it was is they advertised the shots like crazy and people took them up on it. Government, left to their own means and they will find a way to waste as much as they can.

Back when covid started the Ontario government dipped into their massive PPE supplies only to find it had expired. Instead of managing the warehouse they bought tons, stored it and left it to rot. When they need it they needed to order all new.

I just got a call from the doctor, the operations went well, took longer then expected. There were apparently bone fragments around the fracture & he says her bones are in bad shape. They put on a plate & some screws. She won't be able to stand on it for 8 weeks, so that's going to be an issue. But at least they were able to fix it up, he said the bone is stable again & she will be in less pain.

She's in recovery for the next few hours so I won't see her until morrow. Or she might call me later, but I'll wait for that, if she's resting/sleeping I don't want to disturb her.

My Polo did 7,000 miles in the last year, and the MIni another 1,300. Both have over 100K on the clock by now.
