Latency of the keyboard in Balanced power mode

Hello, I recently bought an Asus ROG Zephyrus G16, and I noticed that when the power mode is set to Balanced, there is a slight latency in the keyboard, barely noticeable. However, when switching to "maximum performance" mode, there's an improvement. Is this normal?

It might be, but never seen such behavior. Once I changed the keyboard speed in BIOS (how many characters per second) in a computer and then I could barely type. The keyboard could not keep up with the faster setting and there was a serious lag. Once I set it back to the original value it worked fine. See your BIOS (aka UEFI firmware in newer systems) if there is any keyboard setting and try changing it. If there is an Auto setting, select that. If you have plugged it in a USB 3.0 (blue plastic) or higher port, try connecting it to a USB 2.0 (black plastic) port.
