If you look at the current Options+ (as shown below) you will see it can do everything that the Bolt app use to do. Now the Bolt app serves no purpose.

BTW, I just reinstalled Windows 11 last Saturday. I only learned about the change with the Logi Bolt app when I went to download it.

At least for now you can still download the Logi Bolt app. However, as you can see below it hasn't been updated in almost two years. There will probably be no more updates.

Can anyone out there confirm if the Logitech M510 mouse is actually supported by Logi Options+?

I have seen posts saying it is, seen documentation from Logitech saying it is and then I have seen my own installs (including several new Win 10 and Win 11 test installs) where my specific M510 cannot be detected in any way shape or form.

Need to solve this once and for all.

Yes it is. I have three Logitech M510 mice. I am using Options+ with two Logitech M510 mice in Windows 10 and one Logitech M510 mouse in Windows 11.

Wow. I have struggled with this big time for like months since getting the MX keys.

Do you have any idea how old your M510's are?

Because the only other reason I can think of for this mystery over here is that while Logitech say that LogiOptions+ "supports" the M510 - I am actually starting to think the M510s they DO support probably have firmware (or design) that is not the same vintage as the M510s I am rocking over here.

My two M510s - were originally paired with two K800 keyboards I bought in succession in late 2010 and early 2011. The K800's were workhorses for a dozen years until I finally pounded both of them into submission this past summer - but the M510s they came with just keep in trucking - so I have not yet found any reason to replace them.

I am speculating - but any thoughts on whether this just may be a factor of the M510s I have being too old?

Logitech seems to want to have Logitech Options+ take over some of the functionality of Logi Bolt. I found a problem with that.

My laptop has a Logitech M510 mouse. I wanted to test a Logitech M325 mouse so I used Options+ to add it. That worked fine so I than had both the Logitech M325 and M510 paired. The problem is Options+ has no way to unpair the M325. It has no problems unpairing the M510 mouse. It seems Options+ has limited support for older mice like the M325. To unpair the M325 I had to install Logi Bolt. It could see both mice and allowed me to unpair the M325 or M510.

Note the Logitech support site does recommend using Options+, SetPoint, and Bolt for the M325 mouse.

With further testing I have found the following:

M510 mouse
Pair: Options+, Bolt
Configure: Options+
Unpair: Options+, Bolt

M325 mouse
Pair: Options+, Bolt
Configure: SetPoint
Unpair: Bolt

Logitech is pushing hard to have Options+ replace Options and now even Bolt. However, for older hardware there is still a need for Bolt and even SetPoint.

All three of my Logitech M510 mice are much newer than yours.

When I built the desktop in 2017 it had intermittent problem with the Logitech MK550 wireless combo. Eventually it stopped working. I fixed it by buying a new Logitech Unifying Receiver.

I suggest you download and install the Logi Bolt app to see if you can use it to pair the M510 mice.

The Logitech support site for the Logitech M510 mouse does show a firmware update tool. I don't know if that would solve your problem.
