Don't push down the trackpad physical buttons! Instead learn to use a light one finger tap for left mouse button and a light two finger tap for a right mouse button. That increases speed and useability significantly.
Thanks. I always use "Single-click" mode in Windows. I can't deal with it (Double-click).

I'm a fast touch typist too. Having a touchpad right below the keyboard and not having to reach to the side for a mouse is a considerable time saver for me.
I hate touch devices. Unlike you, I can't take off my right hand from my right side of the keyboard.

thats the way aha aha like it :party::party::party::party::party::party::party::party:
I loved my MX, I thought there was no mouse to reach its ergonomy. But when I got DeathAdder :star::loveit::party: ... The real party started:
1- Ergonomy = 11/10 :loveit: (I have added an extra number beyond my measures, because I like that)
2- Lighting Effect = 10/10 :loveit:
3- Design and simplicity = 11/10 :loveit::zany:
4- Weight = 10/10 :loveit:
5- Durability = 10/10 (OMRON heavy-duty switches are  )

MX was winner (as Photoshop users voted) as best ergonomic mouse for Ps users in the world. But DeathAdder is better than it for me.

(y)

I'm a lazy mouser though!
Sometimes I just like to lounge right back in the chair and mouse around all over the place! 🤷‍♂️

Why is that???
I don't know. I think because the side button stops my thumb. I don't like any button touch my thumb (while working with mouse). I love scrolling with middle finger.

I've had them all, er, most of em anyway..., still do!!!

That doesn't look my old MX Master 2S!
What do you do with your mice. It's like a car scrapping city.

Its only advantage over DA is:

I've looked at them..., never tried one though!
Its design is deceptive (at first look). You have to touch it to understand what it can do.

Logitech only serious ergonomic model, is MX series (as articles wrote). I have heard about SS (SteelSeries) a lot. I don't know anything about its ergonomy and feel.

The hair got stuck in the roller twice. I didn't send it to a church, instead I did a proper repair. I prefer repairing instead of wasting my money for new version of something. I love repair works and get wrenches in my hands. :woozy: .

I hate touch devices.
Fortunately, I have no hatred for touch devices. I like and use my smart phone and it's a touch device.

Unlike you, I can't take off my right hand from my right side of the keyboard.

If you are typing and you need to move the cursor with your mouse, how do you do it without taking your hand off the keyboard? For me, it's far easier and quicker to move my finger down to my trackpad right below the keyboard than to find an external mouse.

I detest the "Edge has been updated" screens - we just need a small notification and a link to look further if interested.
Better yet, are the inescapable fresh install screens...
