Thanks, now have profile top left and removed both the profile red dot and read aloud by altering shortcut target to
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft\Edge\Application\msedge.exe" --disable-features=msShowSignInIndicator,msShowReadAloudIconInAddressBar

Same here.

I like Edge, but I keep a close eye on it. With every new version, I have a look in settings and/or flags, and always shut down any new bells and whistles.

Full disclosure, I run it exclusively in InPrivate, set as strict/tight as possible. Eliminating, behaviors that others may experience. Although, I know not everyone can always run InPrivate.


Still nice to know that @Edwin, always manages to find a way to combat everything though. A wealth of knowledge (truly). And entertaining to read, too! :D :p
