 NVIDIA App

Release Date: April 16, 2026

What's new in NVIDIA App 11.0.7

New Updates:

  • DLSS 4.5 Dynamic Multi Frame Generation Available Now
    • Update to DLSS 4.5 Dynamic Frame Generation on GeForce RTX 50 Series GPUs. Select “Dynamic” mode to intelligently adjust the number of generated frames during gameplay to a target frame rate to balance frame rate, image quality and responsiveness.
    • New DLSS 4.5 Multi Frame Generation 5X and 6X modes on GeForce RTX 50 Series GPUs increase 4K frame rates in path-traced titles. Paired with NVIDIA Reflex, they generate additional frames with minimal impact to responsiveness.
    • DLSS 4.5 Frame Generation model update on GeForce RTX 50 Series and GeForce RTX 40 Series GPUs enhances in-game user interfaces by incorporating additional engine data available for some games, improving visual quality and clarity of static user interface elements.
    • For optimal image quality and peak performance when using ShadowPlay, the latest GeForce Game Ready Driver is required.
    • Access these DLSS features under Graphics > Program Settings > Driver Settings > DLSS Override - Frame Generation mode
  • Automatic Shader Compilation (Beta)
    • Rebuilds DirectX 12 shaders while your system is idle, reducing the frequency of game runtime compilation after driver updates
  • Control Panel Updates

Got it thanks for the info, Geforce usually gives me a notice when these come out and it did not this time.
Edit: I noticed where the System is listed for the download they do not have Windows 11, as a choice yet.

The only difference I notice between Windows 10 and Windows 11, with the Nvidia graphics driver, is that when I switch between one display and two displays... on Windows 11 it doesn't happen as smoothly as it does on Windows 10.

Currently, I'm running the 442.74 drivers on both. So I decided to try this new driver, on Windows 11.
I used DDU and did a clean install of these 471.xx drivers.

Still have the same issue when I switch between one display and two displays.
So for me at least, I see no improvement.

On a side note... I don't have any games from this decade installed, so I can't comment on that. :)

Still assembled, still runs. Haven't turned it on for 15 years?

I have only one screen, do not play games and use the Nvidia card for better video including Bluray.

Interesting issue since updating to 471.41. At boot I am assaulted by errors from a variety of programs showing that nvidumd.dll is bad or not designed to run on Windows.
Tried a clean install and still get the same errors.

Prior to the update I also changed from a MSI GTX 1060 to a PNY GTX 1070, however the error was not present until after upgrading the drivers.

UPDATE: Apparently the third try is the charm? Figured "what the hell", and ran another clean install after this post. Now everything is fine.

I've gotten used to using studio drivers (I don't game) the 41's are very stable.
They are basically the same driver set, somewhat.
The Game Ready drivers have all the fixes for creative media software that the Studio ones do, also.
It's just that Game Ready are updated more often, because of new or improved games.
