MY LEFT CTRL BUTTON ON MY KEYBOARD WITH "X "AN "C" DOES NOT WORK ALL THE TIME.
IF PRESS THE CTRL AND DOUBLE CLICK THE "X" OR "C", SOMETIMES IT WORKS AND SOMETIMES IT DOES NOT.
I DID THE DRIVER UPDATE ON THE KEYBOARD WITH THE SAME RESULTS.
I PUT A NEW KEYBOARD ON THE COMPUTER WITH THE SAME RESULTS.

I had a left CTRL key that did not function now and then.
It appeared thatthe contacts of that CTRL key were just worn, because I used it very often for CTRL C CTRL V etc.
Replacing the keyboard did help.

Possibly you have some spare keyboard somewhere and could try if it is a hardware or a software problem?

here. alt+letter will now act as ctrl+letter until you get a new keyboard. this runs in your tray. compiled with autohotkey. can close out of it by exiting tray app anytime.

If you are talking about a large PC keyboard (not laptop) with removable keys, you can try removing the key and clean it. Also clean the area around the key socket. If you don't want to remove it, you can try blowing dust or any other dirt with an air spray. This usually happens then there are crumbs or other dirt under the key preventing it from be going all the way down and properly register a key press.

Also if you access the computer remotely via AnyDesk or similar the local keyboard layout must match the remote layout for the key combinations to work properly. For example both US (American English) or both GR (Greek) or whatever. If the layouts don't match key combinations don't work properly. I know the OP refers to using the physical keyboard locally, but I said that for anyone accessing their computer remotely.
