Solved Lenovo Yoga 7 Slim Pro Laptop - Intermittent Keyboard Issues

To use the numerical keyboard (numpad) section you must have switched Num lock on. If this is what you mean.
No sorry, I meant that when the issue occurs, it is all the letters & all the numbers that don't work (both the numbers along the top & the numerical keys on the right) but that other keys (non characters such as arrows, ctrl, shift, windows etc) always work & so does combinations/shortcuts using characters (eg C & V do not work, but Ctrl C/V does)

I do have A/V & am careful where I browse, so doesn't seem likely. Is Superantispyware still well regarding, havn't used in years as my A/V has done the job.

Kaspersky exaggerates on security settings and causes trouble to unsuspected users. Recently a friend asked me to install and activate Kaspersky Internet Security for him. To save me the trouble going there I connected to his computer remotely with TeamViewer. I installed the Antivirus in a few minutes but I couldn't activate it! It turned out that Kaspersky blocked all my actions because I was connected remotely and thought it was an intruder! Next day I went to my friends place and activated Kaspersky in a few seconds!

the issue with these laptops is that during the manufacturing process, lenovo thought it was a good idea to introduce an extreme crease in the keyboard ribbon. you have to replace the keyboard with a new one, i found one online for like $15, only problem is its not backlit but oh well. what a shame lenovo has borked so many computers.

At least you have proper support. Here in Greece Lenovo doesn't have very good support and we had to make a formal complaint at Customer Rights Protection Institute in order to replace some parts under Warranty.
