Solved Lenovo YOGA Laptop Dims Screen Too Soon (Even when plugged in!)

Searched for a setting in Settings but didn't find one. I am near certain that there was such a setting in the past.

Have you got the Lenovo bloatware on your laptop?
I got a Yoga for my wife, unless someone answers, I’ll get my hands on it today.

If you’ve checked the settings properly in Control Panel > Power Options and found nothing in the advanced settings of the power plan you’re on, then I’d guess there is something hiding in the battery options or power options of Lenovo to have this happen automatically without interaction, if Lenovo Vantage has any.

There is usually buttons on the keyboard to do that. It might be FN + one of the Function keys. You will have to refer to the manual for your Lenovo YOGA Laptop to find out for which buttons are used.
For example for my ASUS laptop:
Decrease Screen brightness = FN + F7 | Increase Screen brightness = FN + F8
Hints sometimes the buttons are marked to remind you of their function


You can also change the screen brightness in the settings.



If the screen is always dimming even when plugged in then check to make sure you don't have Energy Saver always On.

Settings for display can vary between systems.

On my wifes Lenovo YOGA, there is this in display. Try turning it to OFF
