Link to Windows and Phone Link issues

My notices, only appear on my HP laptop sporadically. Some days I receive messages without any problems. Than the next day nothing appears. Specifically when signing into a website and not getting the sign in code. I have both apps open and connected between my HP and my Samsung Galaxy phone.

Hi & welcome,
It always helps to fill out your system specs in your profile as it eliminates asking basic questions.

I am a Phone Link user and have it running on a total of 4 machines and I get messages, too many in fact.
Do you think that your Bluetooth device might go to sleep from one day to the next, therefore inhibiting your ability to receive messages?
Does you Wifi adapter also turns off when not in use?
Those are the things you might want to look at.

Do you use the Phone Link widget, which is quite useful to refresh the app?

Thank you for your response. I do not see any problem with either my bluetooth or wifi. I do keep phone link open on my taskbar and refresh it often.

Do you let the system turn the power off to the devices though as indicated in the top screenshot?
Make sure no checkmarks are in the box indicated by the arrow.

No checkmarks are on.
