Link to Windows Android Issue

Link to windows on my pc works perfectly. But on my Android phone whenever I open the app, it always opens to the settings page, and there is no way of going to the home screen. Love the app but not sure why I cannot get the user function page. Any help would be appreciated.

That's all there is on your phone, settings..., user functions are mirrored to your PC screen..., that's all there is to it.

There several things to do as they are probably relevant:

MS Store - update Phone Link, and Cross Device Experience Host 06.11.2025
Windows Updates - for me in driver updates there was Samsung USB and Modem.

Phone is updated as of yesterday 07.11.2025

The Phone, and mirrored Phone screen work as they should as far as I can tell. Certainly applies to Home screen and Settings.

My link your phone is version 1.25101.25.0 [last check ed 11.08.2025]
I tried to download Samsung drivers but I have it already installed. Both PC and phone were updated yesterday.

Not sure what the problem is.

Muddle thru and you should get to these points, Phone Link App on PC, Link to Windows on Phone:

Then you select on PC Open phone screen link. A popup appears on your phone for "Allow mirroring on your PC ?" Select > Only this time.
Then the Phone and the mirrored Phone screen on PC shows this Link to Windows screen:

Then you have all the functionality on your PC including Home screen etc, a mirrored phone screen.

Ed, so you are not in the Beta release program?
Maybe it has something to do with the UI being different.
Also, if the Windows Location is turned off, you will not get the battery or wifi indicator below the PC name.

That's the Beta version I'm on as well. It won't update to the latest build for some reason and it's not the first time. Sometimes I get skipped for certain beta builds. All my Link to Windows screens and PC connections show on this beta build though so no issues except it's not the latest.
