Linkbar app (taskbar) for creating unlimited shortcut links

For those who are having issues creating shortcuts on Windows 11 taskbar or that is very limited, try this one out. just drag and drop your shortcuts to the linkbar. you can also create multiple instances of it.

It's simple, highly intuitive and portable, no other installs needed.

What is Linkbar ?

Linkbar is a free source code desktop toolbar. Running in the MS Windows Vista+ environment, its use is governed by MIT License.

Linkbar is a good app!
Three of my favs are Nexus Winstep, Linkbar and Stardock Fences..., but Fences doesn't play nicely with QTTabBar!

also using winstep because win11 taskbar is meh.

I've toyed with using Winstep Nexus - I keep balking for one reason or another.

This looks like it has a lot of potential to bridge the gap between the old Win 10 task bar and the new one. Especially if it is throw at the top (for me, using side-mounted taskbars is hard, because I have dual monitors and I use MWB / Flow / Barrier / whatever I feel like this week, to share my mouse and KB with other devices, and set them up to connect from side to side). But an auto-hiding top-mounted additional taskbar?

Sign me up.

It's a bit overkill! It's like......, RocketDock on crack!

I use it as the "house" of my desktop icons, so the screens are less-clutterred by more than 40 icons..
