Logitech G810 Orion Spectrum UK layout?

I had one of these keyboards for many years (bought it from Maplin!). When it failed I started using an Asus keyboard which I had spare.
I really liked my trusty G810, but can't find one anywhere to buy here in the UK.

I tried eBay, and despite buying one that was 'fully working' half the time some of the keys wouldn't work properly so I returned it.
I'd like to get a *new* one from somewhere but it's discontinued and nowhere seems to have one.

It's weird because the G910 was released at the same time and is still readily available. I don't like that one as it has a non-removeable wrist rest.

When you say your orignal G810 failed, in what way was this? Completely just "stopped working", or some keys dying out? It is possible, since it is a mechanical keyboard, it could be hot swappable. This meaning you can buy some new switches (if you like the old feeling and sound of typing then go with the same) and then fit those fairly easily. If not, then I think you are out of luck as these are, as you say, pretty rare now.

If you are going down the route of new switches, i believe the g810 uses Romer-G switches. You can buy switch kits from logitech directly, but also can use third-party ones too.

All newer logitech keyboards use hot swappable switches, and since the G180 was released in 2016 you should be able to replace the switches easily.

Looks OK to me and is from logitech directly.

I did find one, but unfortunatly it’s on AliExpress. You could just as easily end up with severed leg or a pet Rottweiler as you might the keyboard from Ali... Also, not sure if it is a UK layout, I wasn’t aware keyboards were specific to countries in the English speaking Western world?

… And strangely, as I have just discovered, when I tried changing it to the UK English Pounds or Euro, the page came up blank. Searching for the same keyboard with the UK set as my default also came up blank.
Maybe they find Aussies more gullible.

Oh yes, didn't read the title and just quickly looked at the image.. sorry.

I am not saying to purchase this, but read the description:

In mint condition BUT has a disconnect issue due to what I believe is a faulty cord. Sometimes it connects, slightest touch on the cord and it disconnects and resets the keyboard. The condition is brand new as it was a doa item


All keys worked during testing but still being sold at a loss as faulty spares/repairs. So please purchase only if you intend to use for this purpose and not expecting a fully working item as it's not that!


This Logitech G810 Orion Spectrum Gaming Keyboard is being sold as faulty, but don't let that discourage you from considering it. It may have some issues, but it still has a lot of potential for use or repair. For those who enjoy gaming, this keyboard is a great choice with its features specifically designed for gaming.

Whilst more research should be done, perhaps the cable is loose inside the keyboard?

And this could be an easy repair. But - it could be something else so caution should be taken. (and also I realise you do not want used, but could this be the issue with your keyboard?)
