Macrium Reflect Black Friday deal but not as good as the old days.

The 4 licence deal does not look too bad (works out a £3 per month for 15 months) but of course, gets very expensive after that.

I cannot see many takers.

The only bad thing about the 15 month plan is you will miss the next Black Friday sale and then have to pay more to renew your subscription, A good example is I bought an additional 1 License last Black Friday and Macrium wanted about $52.49 USD to auto renew but the Black Friday price is only $29.00 USD so you are still better off renewing on Black Friday and not worry about the extra 3 months.

That assumes Paramount would not block this as the licence is tied to a specific pc and PC already has a valid lease.

You might have to move existing licence to another pc or vm first.

PS thia is pure speculation.

I should be able to deactivate the 15 month licence after 12 months to catch the next Black Friday sale with a new key and can either let the 3 months left over expire or as you suggest transfer the licence to another Windows Installation using the leftover 3 months (My Windows Insider Installation) which currently has Macrium Free

Bearing in mind, that VX image files are different and you would have to reinstall free version. Unlike previous versions, if you remove licence it does not revert to free version but becomes restore only mode.

When you convert the Pounds to U.S. Dollars it's not a deal at all, my yearly subscription is already $24.95 (U.S.) , when you do the conversion a 15 month deal is actually costing $29.38 (U.S.) , so it's not a deal by any means, they are actually charging for the extra 3 months, you're only saving $1.81 when you break it down by month...... pffft :LOL:

Sometimes It is a little cheaper for me to use Paypal first to convert Canadian currency to US dollars then pay US $29.99 rather then pay CAN $47.39. The difference depends on on the exchange rate used by either Paypal or Macrium.

Yep, I bought the 12+3 month subscription for INR 3530/65. It would not take my card payment unless I put the check mark for the auto renewal after 15 months.. I put the checkmark and paid. No problem, I would login to my card website and remove the auto debit immediately ( I do not know whether I will be alive in March 27! :-) )

I think I read that default auto renewal subscriptions have become illegal. People are being duped by it.
