Malwarebytes blocks ip address 192.178.192.132:443

The forum page opens okay, I just acknowledge it was blocked.

Anyone else seeing this behaviour?

Thanks Marie. I had looked it up.

I ran a scan (John's suggestion) and came up clean. No new extensions. Run of the mill extensions installed. Gmail checker, a couple of extensions we don't discuss and Malwarebytes Browser guard.

It has popped up three times today. Says the offending app is google chrome.

Maybe I should just erase all browsing data and cookies as a start.

as i block google, its kind of nice to never see those IP's in my firewall. :cool:

I ran the IP - Didn't have time to research it :cautious: but this came up! EDIT: it's blocking a secure port 443 on an ISP.

Thank you. Not sure what to do with information. I guess next step is to reset Chrome. My open tabs have not changed when I start browser. I deleted all cache data, cookies, etc. Still pops up, although it took 1hr 35min to do so. I noticed that my Gmail checker was not functional. Shut it off and Ghostery.

It came back to a Reputable Internet Co. where it went? good question. see post #6 above.......blocking a secure port 443 on an ISP... could have gone anywhere. Someone higher up than me fixed the issue.
