Mapped Network drive is not accessible - The handle is invalid after a few days of no issues

I am having a really strange issue with one of my Synology NAS which I have mapped as network drives. Randomly though it seems to happen after several days of uptime, the mapped network drive will show green, but report it is not accessible and the handle is invalid. For example I checked it before lunch today and it was fine. Now two hours later it is not accessible and the handle is invalid. Nothing has changed since I last checked. My other PC doesn't have this issue and both are connected to the same switch.

I have another identical Synology on the same second switch mapped to the same PC which never has this issue. They have different IPs and this only affects one PC. The other Synology is mapped by name rather than IP, but I have tried both ways with problem Synology which didn't fix the issue. The issue seems to be with Windows though and not the Synology. When it happens I can connect to the Synology UI if I go to the IP without any issues. Other PCs on the network also won't show any issues.

After the error happens, if I type \\synologyIP nothing happens in file explorer for the problem Synology, but if I use the name it works. Again none of this is an issue on my other PC which points to Windows or something with this PC and not the Synology.

Any suggestions to what might be the cause or fixes I might try? I never had this issue with my old Windows 10 PC which was in the same spot. It only started with this new Windows 11 PC which replaced that one. I find very little when I google the handle is invalid, but found a few random youtube videos like
. I am hesitant to try these changes though since not sure what this is actually doing. Also the fact my other PC isn't having issues makes me second guess making any changes.

I hate W networking almost as much as onedrive.
I frequently have problems with ONE computer on a network.
There are tons of workarounds and fixes that work, and sometimes, don't work but one thing that almost works is setting the PITA computer to a static IP and then connecting to that computer via the IP.
Ex: I mapped the problem computer and it works, and then it doesn't. File explorer: 192.168.8.45 and it works
