Microsoft Edge keeps changing default from chrome to edge. I and running Windows 11 Pro with the latest updates. I have 64gb of ram and a 1tb ssd.

I have tried everything to keep my chrome as the default browser, but everytime I reboot it slips back to Edge. Any ideas?

Are you setting it as the default under settings > Apps > default apps?

Keep in mind that searching the internet from the start menu and other certain links within windows settings and such will always open in edge regardless.

For things like outlook and other microsoft apps, you might have to choose to use your default browser there in the app settings instead of edge

Yes I am setting the dedault under App/default Apps. I have tried everything that I know-even a system restore back to a previous date.
