I stayed with Windows 10 with update blocked for a long time, and finally updated to windows 11 25H2 recently, feels more OK than last time I tried with 22H2 and about to stay with windows 11.
So today after installed 2026-06 Security Update (KB5094126) (26200.8655), I noticed the start menu changed, even the update states "Security Update".
Then I found out my font is back to default (I changed system font link for displaying specific Japanese font "Meiryo" in registry before), so I checked registry, nothing is changed, font link is still in order.
After some time troubleshooting, I found out the Meiryo font is gone, completely removed from system along with some other Japanese fonts, those fonts are included in Japanese supplemental fonts in system optional features, and the whole pack is removed after the update.
I guess it's time to block windows update again.
