After recent security updates, MMC is different, not that I normally use it anyway.
Have to be on a domain now?
It loads ok anyway, but...
"About group policy management" -> 1/2 Microsoft Corp ?? :alien:

That's the Group Policy editor for administering Active Directory domains, gpmc.msc. If you want to edit local policies, use gpedit.msc.

Unlike Group Policy Editor, the Group Policy Management snap-in isn't part of a normal Pro Edition install.

Did you install the optional RSAT (Remove Server Administration Tools)? That's where it came from.

No, never used RSAT.
Never mind, it's just a launchpad anyway and GPEDIT and SECPOL work standalone, which is all that really matters.
Probably just a glitch in the matrix that it worked previously, now patched.
