Is this only app you can't install from Microsoft Store?

as stated in above, Microsoft solitaire wont install. ive done everything i can think to get it to install. any help will be greatly appreciated
Use the set from winaero - classic W7 games for W10/W11 -- you'll get a popup about some file can't be written to - type the ignore button on the popup and then it installs OK -- I enjoy the Hearts game too. !!! (You can if you want give permission to access the file but it's not necessary).

Anybody who can't find them I can send a link from my One Drive account where I've saved the install file. Pm for link if you want it.

cheers
jimbo

No install required. Just put the "Games" folder anywhere and run whichever .exe file you want.

Use the sol.exe version above @Ghot .

I have always kept a copy from XP days of the old sol.exe and associated cards.dll file to manually add to all new installations, continuing up to current Win 11. I find the later versions all too flowery.

EDIT : For installing the current version, try shutting down/disabling your antivirus program

Yeah, that's the same sol.exe in the file on Dropbox. :-)

It's all the XP games except the online ones... which are no longer supported by Microsoft.
Includes all the help files and sound files as well.
Total size of Games folder is 12.6MB
