Nothing wrong with Microsoft storing Games in the same folder as Apps. I’d think it preferable to have anything downloaded from the App Store in the same place.

Ahh OK, that’s different.
I didn’t realise you meant to access them from your start menu. I thought you meant where they were stored.
Possibly a registry adjustment that you could use to place a hyphen before the name of each game app in the start menu, which would group them together. Not sure.

I have never tried, is it possible to create a shortcut to an App/Game?
If you can create shortcuts to your games, add them to a folder inside; %AppData%\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs
So you would have; %AppData%\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Games
Then you could attach the games folder somewhere convenient in your Start Menu. I think there is an add folder to start menu tutorial here somewhere

Games are really to big to keep on C it just makes C to large to system image plus if you ever have to clean install windows again you'll have to start over with your downloads.
If they were on a different disk you just point the installer back to the same disk and done.

I figured out with Brink's help how to install store and Xbox games into a different drive.
They go into a restricted folder called 'windowsApps'

You'll have to repeat the process to redirect to the other drive.
Restart and the games should populate if not try to install one and see if the installer sees the existing.

Run the tutorial again and hope that Microsoft identifies the pre install and doesn’t override game data. Because I’d assume you would have to reinstall the games. I really don’t know though as I’ve no MS Games.
At another guess, as much as the games are being installed onto another drive, I would be surprised if MS didn’t add any info to your user profile or program data folders. And if that is true, you would have to reinstall the games anyway.

After getting the game folder redirected just go to the game folder where the games .exe file is and double click it.
If the game opens just create a shortcut to your desktop as most installers would do and repeat for other games.

, put all the app shortcuts you want in there (great when you have a lot of a certain type like games). Next make shortcut to this new folder in same Start Menu folder you are in. The shortcut to the folder now shows in All Apps, plus if you I want you can right-click on the shortcut to pin it to the Start Menu to level it up.
