I don't know how to explain this.

I bring up a browser (Opera), go to Microsoft Support sites, Microsoft Support and immediately get the message:
What would cause this message to come up?

Access Denied​

You don't have permission to access "Microsoft Support" on this server.

I bring up another browser (Chrome) go to a Microsoft Support site, and immediately get the message:

You don't have permission to access "Protect yourself from tech support scams - Microsoft Support" on this server.

Note: these are both Microsoft Sites. I am 'cold calling' these two sites. i.e., I brought up the browser searched for Microsoft Support Sites and...presto/

and, yes, I can go to other sites that have "support.microsoft.com" in them,
and, I do have a reason to want to get Microsoft support--to somehow get an App Password, because
(this forum seems to have experienced mass amnesia regarding app passwords - see thread Google Account Specifics)

I tried all 3 of your links and seemed to work fine. I am not logged into my computer with a Microsoft Account, using Local Account as Administrator only.

@jro11 All 3 links work fine here. I'm greeted with "Hello, Gary, welcome to Microsoft Support".

I log in to Windows 11 using Windows Hello and I have a Microsoft Account with a Microsoft 365 subscription. I'm a heavy Microsoft Office user and all my data and photos are kept in my Terabyte of cloud OneDrive. FYI, I use Microsoft Outlook linked to my GoDaddy email account using IMAP protocol.

What do you mean by this? Nobody has amnesia, it’s just that nobody is having your issues and to date, some members bent over backwards trying to help you.. You didn’t find answers searching online either therefore the entire population of the plannet has been brainwashed? What you have experienced seems to be almost unheard of by the looks, therefore, very possibly user error.

app passwords? I don't remember that being mentioned in the conversation. ???

But, getting an "app password" for a GMail account is a daunting experience, but thankfully there is a YouTube video that explains the whole process. I had to go through it FIVE times. Yowzers!
