Yeah, that's something I don't even want to think about, having to depend on the manufacturer to deliver an update. :mad:

I got a BIOS update a couple months ago from Dell but apparently it didn't include this important update.

All three of my machines show good to go in Secure Boot and I just got yet another Dell BIOS update on one of them.

Yeah, you could be right.

After doing an extensive search for the latest BIOS update for mine, I found the most recent one on a couple pages that says it was released 2/26, however it's the same ver as the one I have released 12/25. So I put it in anyway and still the same message for secure boot. So it's labled as a Feb update, but it's actually the Dec one. :mad:

I really hope this isn't going to become a problem. Dell updates are usually a mess in certain areas. It is strange how some people using Dell aren't having problems & say they got recent updates, whereas my latest one is from Dec.

In my case, all 3 components have the green checkmark, so I shouldn't have any problems with secure boot. But interestingly, the Core isolation is also green despite the fact that Memory integrity is switched off on my PC (and I think that many users also keep it off to prevent degradation of performance).

Well I finally got the cert installed.

Long story short, d/l ed the new cert, both were present, but still was showing as running the older one. Had to revoke the permissions of the older one & then it started using the newer one.
