Solved Missing Startup option in Settings / Apps

Hi

The option to enable/disable startup items using the Apps option in Settings has just disappeared following the latest update. Startup items are shown under Task Manager and can be enable/disabled here but the Startup folder at "C:\Users\xxxx\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup" is showing as empty. I've run DISM.exe but still have the problem.

Has anyone else had the same problem and found a fix?

Many thanks for the link. I've read the very useful thread and have just merged the registry file supplied by Brink and everything is back to normal! Many thanks for the help.

My folder "C:\Users\xxxx\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup" in File Explorer is empty; as is tab Startup apps in Task Manager; likewise Apps > Startup in Settings.
All of the things that I want to be run at startup do run at startup.
They are specified in various registry keys named Run.

I appreciate your work and knowledge, you saved me from another reinstall. Had nothing but issues lately with my system from a bad insider update (seems to be one thing and yet another this past week with my configuration, and hard to tell which configuration and/ or mod I was using was causing the issue), and was dreading another reinstall. Forever grateful for your knowledge and reg key you provided.
