Hi,

Just after the installation of the .8313 build, I activated the Xbox Mode through ViveTool. The setting was available through Settings > Xbox Mode.

However on my two computers, one is a laptop (i5-7500, not officially supported) and the other a desktop PC (i9-9900K), since the installation of build .8328, the option is completely gone.

I tried disabling the feature with ViveTool, re-enabling it, using the registry "hack" (provided in the news' topics) but it doesn't bring back the setting. The Win+F11 shortcut isn't working either.

I also tried cleaning the Overrides key on my laptop. I then used ViveTool to enable the feature but it's still missing upon reboot...

Any idea ?

Kind regards

According to co-pilot:

Xbox Mode was pulled in build 26100.8328 — nothing is wrong on your end.

Everything you tried (ViveTool, registry, clearing Overrides, Win+F11) won’t bring it back because the feature is controlled server‑side. Microsoft has been A/B‑testing Xbox Mode in the .83xx builds, and they’ve already flipped it off for several Insider rings.

When a feature is disabled upstream, the Settings page disappears even if the local feature flag is still set — which is why both of your machines lost it at the same time.

Once Microsoft re‑enables the rollout for your cohort, the option will return automatically. No local fix needed

I still have it in .8328, which was an update from .8313

Other PC here has it too
