To almost all users, the incompatibility with Classic theme is a nonissue, similar to how the incompatibility/glitch with Open-Shell's option to apply your own custom taskbar texture also doesn't bother too many users who, first and foremost, just want their Toolbars back. These little flaws certainly aren't major issues like causing explorer.exe to crash when Toast notifications are enabled. As you can see for yourself, I came up with a nice (IMO anyway, lol...) workaround to "fix" the taskbar texture. It does. It is not compatible with Classic theme, not compatible with 7+ Taskbar Tweaker and with most Windhawk mods that modify the taskbar.
As for 7+ Taskbar Tweaker, it was written ages ago (I know this because I was using it myself on Windows 7 x64 Ultimate back in the day) by the same guy who also wrote both Windhawk and a Windhawk mod to replace 7+ Taskbar Tweaker, Middle click to close on the taskbar, and that I use together with multiple other Windhawk mods (e.g., Click on empty taskbar space and Disable grouping on the taskbar), Open-Shell, and ExplorerPatcher. ExplorerPatcher aims to enhance the working environment on Windows. It doesn't aim to satisfy those who make it their personal hobby to keep regurgitating their incapacity to live without Classic theme. That is not the reason why toolbars on the taskbar were invented. If someone invented a tool that lets me skip over comments like these, I would pin a shortcut to it on my toolbar in seconds.
