Monitor wakes up

Have set monitor to sleep after 5min.



A while after the monitor has entered sleep mode, it wakes up again 1-2 times before it goes to sleep as it should be, all the time.

Ran powercfg /devicequery wake_armed and turned off the devices in the list, maybe it's only affecting computer sleep and not sleep for the monitor?
Did the same thing for mouse and keyboard.

I have a similar problem with a Logitech K750 keyboard which uses the Unifying Receiver, in that the monitors wake a minute after going to sleep, and then after a minute, they go back to sleep and stay asleep. The computer itself is on 24/7 and never sleeps, so it really is just the monitors I'm talking about. The problem doesn't happen if the keyboard is powered off before the monitors sleep. It doesn't happen with other Logitech keyboards or mice I have connected to the same receiver. There is no power setting that can help it such as disabling "Allow this device to wake the computer". My best guess is that the K750 communicates its power-saving or power-off state to the Unifying Receiver, and it somehow triggers the monitors to come on.

You can see if the same thing is happening to you by turning off devices connected to your transceiver before the monitors enter sleep. The order may matter, because I found that switching my K750 off while the monitors are asleep immediately wakes them. Amusingly, switching it on while they're asleep doesn't wake them.

I'm having a Microsoft Designer Compact keyboard. Mouse I allways turn off. I can try the same for the keyboard.

Aside from using the latest version of the Logitech Unifying software (version 2.52.33), also make sure that you're running on the latest firmware for the Unifying receiver itself (version 012.011.00032) and on the latest firmware for the keyboard (version likely depends on what model of keyboard you have, with my K800 it is version 068.001.00009). Also try unplugging the Unifying receiver from the USB port before uninstalling/reinstalling the Unifying software, see if it helps. Another thing to note is that you really need to use the USB extension cable that came with the Unifying receiver, not some other USB extension cable. (If yours didn't come with the cable, basically it means you got somewhat screwed...)

An alternative way to prevent the Unifying receiver (and anything that you've got hooked up to it wirelessly) from waking stuff up is to add a powered USB hub between the computer and it, albeit likely you'll still want to be able to wake the computer by clicking with your mouse then. So, for that, you'll need to use a mouse that isn't of the Logitech Unifying type/variant. This is one of several reasons why I use the G402 Hyperion Fury. Unlike the keyboard, I don't use the mouse on my lap so, that's why the mouse being a corded one doesn't bother me at all. The G402 still has the most buttons of them all, none of the buttons are located behind/in front of the scroll wheel so can't easily be pressed accidentally, all the buttons are located where they can be reached comfortably and fast, and the shape of the body is still the same as the MX518 so, it's the bees knees IMO. As for the K800, it is the only wireless keyboard in the world AFAIK that you can pick up and hold with just a single hand, comfortably, while not having to fall victim to accidental keypresses each time when you do that (and that I do lots of times per day). IMO reason enough to just ditch the K750.

Seems to be the keyboard that causes it. The screen didn't wake up last time when I turned off the keyboard.

After some troubleshooting it was the windows notification that was waken up the monitor. Noticed it when the mobile and monitor waked up at the same time for the same notification. :)
