I have a Microsoft Mouse. A couple times in the last few days it has lost the settings for the "extra" buttons i.e. the wheel-button and the upper left side button. This occurs while working in Windows with no obvious trigger.
The standard functions such as left click, right click, and the wheel continue to work normally. It's only the settings that are accessed through the "Additional Mouse Settings" > "Microsoft Mouse and Keyboard settings". They revert to the standard for those buttons. Just going into the Additional Settings again will correct the problem.
Coincidentally, I noticed that MS mentioned easier access to some mouse settings in the recent KB5058499. However, it's not the "Additional" settings and that change looks like more of a Settings panel change than the Mouse settings mechanism.
Anyone else had this issue?
