Hi everyone,
I’m having an issue where my mouse sometimes registers a double-click even though I only click once. It doesn’t happen every time, but often enough to be annoying (dragging files is especially bad).
I’ve already tried:
- Adjusting the OS double-click speed
- Plugging the mouse into a different USB port
- Testing on another browser
To make sure it wasn’t just an app issue, I tested the raw input using an online mouse tester tool mouse-tester . I can actually see occasional extra click events even when clicking slowly.
Does this usually mean the switch is wearing out, or is there something else worth checking before replacing the mouse?
