If this thread is in the wrong location, moderators, please move it as appropriate.

I am in the midst of moving from my old computer to my new computer.

As an aside, a substantial portion of my data are on OneDrives. I have not yet backed up data outside of OneDrives to my new computer. At this stage, I want to get my new computer properly organized, and then I will transfer the remaining data from my backups to the new computer.

I want to move most of my libraries to other internal drives. For example, I want to move Documents (J), Downloads (J), Music (K), Pictures (K), and Videos (K). The letters J and K are placeholders for the two internal destination drives.

I followed the Eleven Forum's excellent instructions for moving the Documents folder.

My questions are as follows:
  1. When I moved Documents from C to J drive, I noticed that the Documents folder still exists with some content in C drive. In my specific case, "My Kindle Content" and "Snagit", both of which are folders for other applications, remain behind in the C drive. If I go to J drive, "My Kindle Content" and "Snagit" exist there, too, along with other data. Can I delete the Documents folder in the C drive?
  2. For other libraries, do I follow the same process for moving Documents. More specifically, I want to confirm that I need to create folders for Downloads, Music, Pictures, and Videos in advance of moving them? And then just move these libraries like I did with Documents? I suspect if there are any leftover folders on the C drive, I can delete them?
Thank you.

I think I answered my own question. After going into the options of Kindle and SnagIt, I changed the default location to my new drive. So now the remnants in the C drive are no longer of any consequence.

I should have thought of this solution earlier.

My question 2 from my prior post still stands. I am guessing that the process is identical to moving Documents. And my expectation is that the icons, say for Music, will transfer over to the new folder on the other internal drive.

Yes that's correct. The process is the same.

Thank you.

Knowing that I must create the folder in advance is very helpful. the Forum's instructions are very helpful.
