Maybe it's the latest canary release but after update via WU and insider program from RTM 22x release (or what I suppose is nearest to std windows 11 ) I got 2 or 3 times message on boot "Activate now" even though Windows already activated previously, When clicking got message Activation servers cannot be reached. So I tried the other way -- change product code -- again We can't activate Windows --- Activation servers unreachable.
Anyway this morning booted up -- fine - came up activated with digital license which is what it should be -- I wasn't using any "El cheapo" Windows licenses from kinguin or those other places offerring these. Using proper legit Windows keys.
No problems here with Internet connections etc . The servers seem to be working OK today - so no idea what the problem was.
maybe hackers --- who knows. So if Windows doesn't activate when it should just try again later. Don't even THINK of trying by phone these days unless you like hideous music and a long wait.
