MS Edge keeps adding favorites from my history to the new tab page.

Any way to stop it? I searched every possible item in settings. But it still happens.

3 dots > Settings > Start, home, and new tab page > New tab page > Deselect both options.

On New tab page > Cog > Page settings...

Scroll down > Everything Off.

That should leave you with just a Bing search bar.

Thanks for the reply but I just want my favorites and they work, but Edge keeps adding more from my browsing history.

Have you tried in Edge running Settings > Reset settings?

This annoying issue is a common one unfortunately with no single proven fix.

Yeah, there's definitely a bug, temperature doesn't show at top either even though it's toggled on.

On the New tab page with Quick links selected with your favourites Add shortcuts with the Plus button > waft the mouse over shortcut > 3 dots > Pin to page.

Then on wafting over will be a Pin symbol and a 3 dots option of unpin from page.

The minimum 1 row on mine is 9 Icons so if you pin 9 then they are your favourites and won't fill up with randoms.
The Show weather works fine in the UK.

As far as I can see, no bugs.
