Edge (Version 120.0.2210.61 (Official build) (64-bit)) failed today when trying to save a browser webpage via "Save to PDF" as the selected printer in the print dialog. The download is reporting that it cannot save because the file is still open in the browser window. However, using the "Microsoft Print to PDF" as the selected printer in the print dialog does finish successfully. This is the first time I have seen "Save to PDF" fail.

Has anyone else seen this issue? It feels like a new "bug" has cropped up.

Thx for confirmation of similar behavior, I appreciate the response. As noted in my OP, I did use "Microsoft Print to PDF" to work around the issue.

Closing the entire browser to permit saving the file, while it may work, is not a useable solution unless it is a one-off save with no further interaction on that site - or with the web browser. Changing browsers is a sledge-hammer solution and, again, while it may work, is not a useable solution.
