MS Office renamed to "Microsoft 365 CoPilot"


this is not going to much use to the OP but ..
i dont have or will let copilot or office 365 anywhere near my systems.

i use Microsoft Works 9 from 2007
with comes with Word 2003 along with Jarte word processor to replace Wordpad.

i also have LibreOffice which the whole house uses on every system
and everything is on the computers nothing is saved or used online.

but thats just me.

This is a nothing burger. The word app and excel and all of that is not being renamed, just the central office 365 app which no one really uses anyway. But yes, the constant shoving of copilot in everything is annoying. And I am one of the few people that like AI

MS 365 has had copilot for over a year.

People are getting venal about a trivial name change - so tedious ZZZZZZZ.

365 Co-Pilot reminds me of when Google decided to create a Social Media platform and added every GMail users on to it whether they wanted to be on it or not.

Nobody used it and nobody remembers it.

Again media hype "much ado about nothing" - a few places had issues of course but that happens every year with bad weather.
