MS Outlook is not adding Yahoo email accounts

MS Outlook is not adding Yahoo email accounts but just a few minutes ago I added a Yahoo email account to Thunderbird successfully without any problems.

for outlook, you need to generate an app-specific password via yahoo. then add it and supply that password instead of your login password

previously I generated app passwords. Yahoo website asked for the names of apps and I would give the app name MS Outlook for Microsoft Outlook 2k19 and 2k21 pp but what name we should give for MS Outlook 365, I entered the app name as MS Outlook for MS Outlook 365 it gave a yellowish text two lines error message. also yahoo site not generating app passes for MS Mail.

yeah yahoo's site is full of weird glitches/instances of failure. i use the mobile app and generate an app password when needed. for outlook on outlook, just name it owa or mso or something...
