ms solitaire collection won't open

I'm new to 11 & use solitaire for a brain game & to relax. It's pinned to the task bar & shows up but takes forever or won't open. Is it not in the system? Thanks for any & all help. Hope y'all have a better new year.

Right click on Start.
Go to settings/apps/click on Installed Apps.
Look for Solitaire and Casual Games
Click on the 3 dots
Advanced
Scroll all the way down to Uninstall
Right above that there is RESET
Click on that and then try again.

Found what you suggested & clk'd reset. About 20-30 sec. later it showed loading. # min have gone by & still loading. Anything else to suggest?
Is it in the system or coming from the cloud or wherever? Thanks in advance for your advice. It just loaded! :^)

If you like to play Solitaire, how about the old version from XP or before?
For that version, which does play on Win-11 or any previous version of Windows, all you need is two files, located in the same directory, or even on the desktop. Those two files are, "Sol.exe and Cards.dll".
I have it set up here on Win-11/Pro, and it plays just like it did decades ago.
I've kept those two files on my Utilities Disk (or flash drive) for years, and I install them on every new Windows install.

    Still assembled, still runs. Haven't turned it on for 15 years?
Oh how I regret, that I can't just upload Sol.exe and Cards.dll to this forum, for download by whomsoever wants them.
But they should be available on any old PC running Win-7 or earlier.
Solitaire is not only a fun game, but its a strategy game too, and great for keeping the old mind alert.

My game really went into OverDrive, when some years ago I discovered how and when to use the Right Click mouse button. If I Right Click on that ten of hearts, it's Game Over!
