MS Word weird behavior?

Windows 11 Pro 25H2 (26200.8457).
Hello everyone,

I am using MS Off 2021 Prof., since it was released. I mostly use Word, but since last few updates the opened word pages won't pop open on a blank desktop. (non responsive). They only do once I have a browser (Brave) running.

Notepad has non issues and pops up on the blank desktop.

Any suggestions, solutions, expert recommendations.

Which is probably not your installed version but the MS Office online version??

When it's open, check the File > Options/Account details for which account it's signed into

What about Excel ... same?

Nothing to do with MS Office, separate built-in Windows app

I am signed into File > Options > Account.....


Edit:
Occasionally after several attempts it does open..........

Do I need to clear some Word/Off cache?

How are you opening Word - from a shortcut icon? Right-click on the icon > Properties > what's the path of the start file?

What happens when you try to open Word from the winword.exe file in File Explorer?

From a desktop shortcut, path: "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\root\Office16\WINWORD.EXE"

Edit:
No issues once opened using File Explorer.
I only face it once word pages are opened but are on task manager.
