Solved MSI Afterburner and HWiNFO

So before doing a fresh OS install whenever I start MSI Afterburner, HWiNFO will start by itself since MSI Afterburner uses a couple of HWiNFO's sensors (I've added HWiNFO's sensors to MSI Afterburner through the monitoring tab, active plugins in MSI Afterburner) but now after doing a fresh OS install and applying the same settings to both apps, HWiNFO is no longer starting by itself when starting MSI Afterburner, any idea how to get HWiNFO to do that again?

MSI Afterburner can read the sensors all by itself.
It doesn't "need" HWInfo to read the sensors.

For example... I use AIDA64 Extreme to read "everything".
And (because I have an EVGA vid card), I use EVGA Precision to deal with that.

To give you an idea what AIDA64 Extreme can monitor...

You can also have AIDA64 show the things you monitor in the System Tray if desired.
And you can access it on a smart phone or alternate display as well.

Personally, I like the OSD, I can grab and drag it where ever I want it.
You can also edit the label, font, color and text size of the OSD items.

I keep my OSD over by the START Menu...

Go to settings and check "Auto Start"

MSI afterburner cannot read GPU Hotspot temp. Check out a recent HWInfo 64 by Jay. At approx 10 minute mark. There may be others.

It helps to buy the vid cards from the better companies.

I really miss EVGA.

Thanks but I don't plan on using other than the apps I've mentioned and I'm using HWiNFO because MSI Afterburner doesn't have all the sensors.

Auto Start makes the app start with Windows, which is not what I'm asking about here, this is about the app staring with another app that it's hooked with (double clicking only on MSI Afterburner, HWiNFO would start with it directly by itself).

I'm guessing it would be a setting in Afterburner, that "calls" HWInfo?

I can't test because I'm running EVGA Precision.

Just saw this in MSI Afterburner, it actually says if HWiNFO is installed it should start by itself:

And yes I have "shared memory" and the sensors enabled in HWiNFO but for some reason as I've been saying it won't start by itself when starting MSI Afterburner.

And here are my HWiNFO settings:

consider it as a clue to find out what you want to do. Dive deep into the HWiNFO settings. I am using AIDA64 Extreme on my sensor panel.

The developer of MSI Afterburner replied on the matter saying:

"Recent HwInfo 8.xx updates changed registry path where HwINFO installer stores installed applicaiton location ("HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\HWiNFO® 64_is1" versus "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\HWiNFO64_is1" before), so plugin won't be able to see if HwINFO is installed, where it is installed and automatically start it. Updated versions of plugin will be required to support new HwINFO installers."
