After my journey installing a NMVe SSD a couple days ago and installing the latest windows update, I found my start menu didn't work the way it did before. I can get to everything by right clicking ( I didn't have to before ) bit it's different. For one , I can't change users from there. No big deal I guess but different.
After searching a bit and running scannow and such, I looked in task manager and noticed I have multiples of processes, like 2 Microsoft Edge, 2 Macrium reflect, 3 Realtek audio, 4 Bitdefender servise host and 4 Bitdefender user host, and others. Any insight/comments about these ? thanks

can't change users from there.,
Open start menu, click your name on bottom left, in popup click 3 dots upper right
I can get to everything by right clicking
What exactly do you have to right click on. Sorry, this is not clear. Explain in more detail, please.

I have multiples of processes,
This is entirely normal. Browsers will have multiple processes running even when the browser is not open. It depends on browser settings and how many addons one uses as to the number of processes.

It is not new for Macrium Reflect and AV software to also have processes running all the time..

You can open startup apps in task manager and control SOME processes running at startup by disabling start up items.

If I click on the window pane , all my options disappear in a few seconds. If I hurry and hit settings ( for instance ) fast enough nothing happens.
If I right click the window pane I get choices and they work.

Wow, that's a new one on me. Are you using any third party software that alters the GUI? ....like explorerpatcher, start11, etc.
I suggest you see if the start menu problem still exists when running a clean boot. If it doesn't happen in a clean boot, you have some software conflicting with Windows. Brink's procedure will help you weed out which one. Perform a Clean Boot in Windows 11 to Troubleshoot Software Conflicts Tutorial

Also check your mouse settings to make sure something hasn't changed it.
