My mouse is randomly freezing for about 1 second every couple of minutes. Everything else on the system remains running and does not freeze, only the mouse.

It is a Roccat LEADR. I have tried with and without the cable/wireless and it makes no difference.

While troubleshooting I found these options in device manager:
View attachment 73934
I turned off 'allow the computer [...]', anyway my question is, is there a way to turn this off on everything automatically / in one go? Because I went through device manager and found a few other things with it enabled, so basically I'm looking for an option or a reg file that would disable it for everything. Does this exist? It's hard to search for..

Thanks guys.

Not that I have found, I always do it manually. Plus, I like having static control on which devices stay on and which I let get turned off.

I see. My main issue though is the mouse freeze. It's for about half a second and I can not figure out if any application is causing it because it just seems to happen at random.

If you have not done so already, install the Roccat Swarm software. Within that software you should find advanced options that include the ability to adjust such settings as the polling rate, etc. See if altering any of those settings help.

NOTE: Before changing any settings, I suggest jotting down the current settings so that you can easily go back to where you started.

    The five 8TB drives and three 512GB SSDs are part of a DrivePool using StableBit DrivePool software. The three SSDs are devoted purely to caching for the 8TB drives. All of the important data is stored in triplicate so that I can withstand simultaneous failure of 2 disks.

I've got the latest drivers for it, I don't think they have been updated in a few years because it's an old mouse, but I use the latest SWARM software;

Is it connected to a dongle, or via BT, to the PC?

It has a wireless charging dongle and you can connect the cable to the mouse directly, it happens either way.

I actually have the same problem with my BT mouse. It will disconnect after sitting idle for less than a second, which makes it useless for X-Plane 11 and a lot of other applications which require frequent, but not constant use of a mouse. I tried unchecking every instance of "Allow windows to turn off this device to save power" in task manager to no effect. Watching this thread in case someone has a solution.

I ran dism and all those system scans, played around with the Easy Services Optimizer tool and set everything to default, then rebooted, and it has just stopped happening.

However I remember it doing this earlier in the week, so I expect it to start again at some point. I'll try and figure out what triggers it. So until then I guess.
