My Outlook account is locked

On Google Chrome when i am trying to sign into my Outlook account it displays this screen

"Your account has been locked​

We detected activity that goes against the Microsoft Services Agreement and have locked your account.
You'll just need to show you're human in the next step.
Next"
I click next but i just keep looping through the press and hold button

Try a different browser.

I tried Microsoft Edge but it still gave the same result.

To unlock your Outlook or Microsoft account, sign in at the Microsoft Sign-in Helper page. Enter your locked email address and follow the prompts to receive and enter a security code via text message or an alternate email.


Common Reasons for Locking

Too many incorrect password attempts

Unusual sign-in location or new device activity

Sending suspicious spam or violating terms of use

If you cannot access your recovery phone or email, submit the Microsoft Account Recovery Form with past passwords and recent email details.



If you hit rate limits or failed attempts, stop signing in for 24 to 48 hours to let the temporary security cooldown expire.


Enter any working phone number that can receive text messages to get a security code, even if the number is not linked to your account.

Try again using a different device that's on a different network. Your mobile phone using cellular data, with WiFi off, would be ideal. Alternatively, use a friend or neighbour’s computer.

Clear your browser cache and cookies.

Click 3 dots in the top right, choose delete browsing data from the list, choose all time under time range, and checkmark just cookies and cache. Close browser and reopen. Try again

You are probably blocking tracking, Cloudflare and Google are necessary to prove, that you are not BOT.
