This might not be Windows 11 specific but I don't know what happened.
Motherboard: Asus ProArt Z890
CPU: Intel Core 9 Ultra 285k
DDR5 6400 128 GB
Usually my BIOS are set to default and then only activate S200 Boost so that my all 4 DIMMs are running at 6400 MHz
Windows 11 Pro
I usually let me PC go to sleep and it wakes up automatically, this usually works very well. But today the PC could not wake up from sleep when I got home. I tried to reset and it could not boot, the PC cycled trying to reboot several time. In order to make it boot again I had to reset the BIOS via the motherboard Clear CMOS button.
I checked the Event Viewer and these are the last two events

Anyone know what could have caused this?

Going by what you said, sounds to me you have wrong time or time zone set in windows. Settings>time & language>date & time.
Also make sure adjust for daylight savings time is toggled on if you are in the US.

Verify the correct date and time is set in bios too.

Also:

  • Update BIOS: Make sure you're running the latest BIOS for your motherboard.
  • Disable Integrated Graphics (iGPU): If you're using a dedicated GPU, disable the iGPU in BIOS. This has resolved wake issues for many users with Core Ultra CPUs.
  • Switch Sleep State: In Windows, change sleep mode to Hybrid Sleep or Hibernate via Power Options > Advanced Settings. Hybrid Sleep can be more reliable on high-performance setups.
  • Check Windows Power Plan: Use “Balanced” or “High Performance” and disable USB selective suspend and PCI Express Link State Power Management.
  • Clear Fast Startup Cache: Run:
    Code:
    powercfg -h off
    Then re-enable it with:
    Code:
    powercfg -h on
This resets hibernation data which can corrupt over time.

The link has a list of supported motherboards and RAM modules for the 200S mode. None of the configurations match your specs.

According to the link 200S can o/c the RAM controller from 6400 to 8000 with some 2 modules configurations of 2x16 or 2x24 GB, all native 8000 except one 7200. I guess you've needed 200S as a workaround to set your RAM to its native 6400 MHz b/c you have 128 GB? Would you need it for 64GB? (but you may need or prefer 128 GB at whatever speed, of course, another bit to consider is the actual performance impact of RAM speed). Frequently processors have lower official limits for higher RAM amounts. Maybe you're trying to overclock and you've had to clear the CMOS to recover from a too aggressive setting?

Indeed, memory settings could have caused the issue cause my PC had not boot until I pressed the Clear CMOS button on the motherboard. But it ran so fine at 6400 MHz with 200S boost enabled. And now it is again enabled and no problems so far. Perhaps it happens only from time to time. So far it happened twice in a few months time. Mc PC is rock solid stable so far, I also customized my Windows 11 Pro a lot
